We are living in a moment that calls for moral clarity— and imagination.

We the People is an invitation to help shape a shared vision for the world we do not yet have—one where all humanity and all creation can thrive.

During the week of August 17, thousands of people across the country are participating in this process in real time.

Across the country, people of faith are responding to this moment through organizing, care, and moral leadership. This effort brings those voices together into a collective expression.

An interfaith group of theologians and religious leaders is developing a call to consciousness—articulating core values, moral commitments, and a shared understanding of this moment.

In response, thousands of people of faith and conscience across the United States will come together August 17 to engage that framework and help shape what action, responsibility, and public witness look like now.

The call to Consciousness

This is not a statement authored by a few.

It is a collective voice.

In early fall, we’ll share what emerges from this process: a clear vision shaped by thousands across the country about who we are and what we are called to create.

A short film will bring this to life, with voices from across the country expressing what this moment means.

We look forward to sharing it with you!
